I was applying for Home Depot, and it gave me some math questions, and since my dad is a General Contractor, I decided to ask him them too. What I forgot though was that he was drunk.
I proceeded to do this using logic and simple math. 4 goes into 12, 3 times. 8 goes into 16, 2 times. 3 sheets across, 2 sheets wide, 6 sheets.
My dad, started sporting off random numbers, and that a 4x8 was 32 square feet. It took him almost 20 minutes to figure it out. I think his math was 4X8=32. 16X12=192. 192/32=6. He said he rounded his numbers.
He did this while drunk, stumbling around, telling me about construction, and playing darts.
The next question, which I forgot to screen shot was. A customer wants 88, 2 inch pipe connectors. The pipe connectors are sold in groups of 25. How many packs will they need to buy?
I used simple math. 25+25+25+25=100. 4 packs. This question obviously way easier.
My dad didn’t even try this one, he told me he needed a calculator, and to divide 88 by 25. He spilled his beer and then told me to work at a law firm instead.
My dad is the weirdest drunk.
